We took the shop out of carpet shopping
Carpet is hard to judge in a showroom. The lighting is wrong, the space is huge, and the sample you loved never quite matches the sofa once it's home. Bringing the samples to you solves that.
It also saves us the cost of shop premises, which is money we can leave in your pocket instead. You get expert advice without a salesperson hovering, and a free quote you can take your time over.
We stay with you from the first visit through to the fitting and aftercare, and if anything isn't right we'll put it right.
What every Wakefield customer gets
Whether it's one bedroom or the whole house, the service is the same.
- Prices below the high street
- Honest advice with no hard sell
- A wide range of carpets to choose from
- Free quotes with no obligation
- Payment by card or cash
- Floor preparation, including screeding and ply boarding
What our customers say
Genuine Google reviews for Floor Coverings Local, the family business behind Mobile Carpet Shop Wakefield.
Brilliant service, very quick and easy from making our first enquiry to getting a quote and getting it fitted. We had a full house fitted with both carpet and laminate. Everything was explained to us clearly and no hidden charges. The day of the fitting went very smoothly. The fitters arrived as arranged and were hardworking and got the whole house done very quickly to a very high standard. I would highly recommended floor coverings local.
